The Foundation of MBS

What “The Woman Beyond The Cape” Means

MBS | The Woman Beyond The Cape exists to remind women who they are before the world tells them who to be.

To be the woman beyond the cape is to live in full alignment with the woman God created you to be—rooted in truth, not performance; identity, not expectation; obedience, not approval.

Scripture reminds us:

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.”
Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)

Our mission is not to help women become someone new—but to help them remember who they already are in Christ.

The Fire: God’s Presence at the Center

From the beginning, the fire symbol was chosen before its meaning was fully understood. Scripture reveals why.

Throughout the Bible, fire represents the presence, power, and holiness of God:

  • God revealed Himself to Moses through fire (Exodus 3:2)

  • God led His people by fire (Exodus 13:21)

  • God purified and refined through fire (Malachi 3:2–3)

  • God filled believers with His Spirit like fire (Acts 2:3–4)

“For the Lord your God is a consuming fire.”
Deuteronomy 4:24

The fire in MBS represents God at the center—not as a distant concept, but as an active presence guiding, refining, and sustaining this brand and the women it serves.

MBS was never built alone.
It was built under His covering.

The Color Purple: Identity, Royalty, and Divine Authority

Purple has always been our signature color—long before its full meaning was revealed.

In Scripture, purple symbolizes royalty, authority, dignity, and divine appointment.

  • Purple adorned kings and queens (Esther 8:15)

  • Purple was woven into the Tabernacle and priestly garments (Exodus 26–28)

  • Purple represented honor and position, not earned—but bestowed

Even Jesus was clothed in purple during His suffering—mocked by men, yet revealing the truth of His kingship (Mark 15:17).

“You are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession.”
1 Peter 2:9 (NLT)

Purple in MBS represents the truth that every woman who belongs to God walks in spiritual royalty—not because of status, success, or perfection, but because of identity.

The Affirmations: Wearing Identity, Not Labels

Every MBS piece is intentionally named with an “I Am” affirmation, each one tied directly to Scripture.

These affirmations are not trends.
They are biblical declarations.

“So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.”
Romans 10:17 (NLT)

When a woman wears MBS, she is not wearing a label from the world—she is wearing truth spoken over her identity.

Each piece serves as a reminder throughout the day:

  • Who God says she is

  • What He has already placed within her

  • That her worth is settled, secure, and unchanging

The Foundation of MBS
